We blocked, we block, we will block!
(18 Nov 2011) November 11th Poland celebrates The National Independence Day. On that day, for more then a decade, Polish nationalists organize their traditional march, so called „The Independence March“. This march is actually an extreme right-wing and fascist parade that includes shouting out racist slogans like „Whole Poland will be white!“ while marching through the city. Last year, a few thousand of people have blocked the main street where the march was supposed to pass so the march was not held. Last years, Poland has had a reputation of a country with relatively strong fascist activity. Since this kind of marches are the best way to demonstrate oneself out on the street it was important to stop again this masquerade to show that Polish people will not tolerate any expression of hatred towards anyone. Also, since fight against fascism has no national sign and is a matter of all the people, blocking the march has helped antifascists from many different countries; Germany, Czech Republic, Belarus, Lithuania; all around Poland as well as the members of the Antifa Zagreb.

Against racism on Croatian stadiums
(22 Mar 2011) Racism is a sick phenomena which is present on many stadiums in Croatia for a very long time. It is often not considered to be a big problem and is justified as an excess of minority, just like the case of racist hooting which can be heard very clearly and loudly over a tv or radio, but we never hear any reaction or disapproval. Some supporters clubs whose members are part of this racist acts have never made a distinction from them, which can only mean one thing: it is not about minority. Last case which attracted the attention of public, not because of racism but rather because of the rude gesture of NK Istra player Henri Belle, happened on March 5th on a match against NK Osijek.

March of solidarity 2010. - Against Romani discrimination!
(27 Nov 2010) Today, like 70 years before, antifascism is demonstrated as an imperative attitude of all progressive men. The institutional racism of the European Union and its practice, which reminds of the fascist one from the past in so many ways, has particularly culminated in past few years. In these times of economic crisis and shameless degradation of workers rights and standard, European political cliques are trying to distract attention from concrete problems by encouraging xenophobic rage with anti-immigrant antipathy.

Neonazi concert banned!
(22 Feb 2010) Association of young anti-fascists of Zagreb expressed its satisfaction with the reaction of the public for attempting to organize neo-Nazi concert, owing this the concert was banned. After an anonymous tip on Friday evening, we decided to act. Due to the short time that we had to react, we decided to use public pressure, because we have learned from experience that this is the only way to prevent neo-Nazis in their intentions. In the summer of last year, the same group that organized this concert, 'Croatian nationalists', also organized the 'Anti-gay protest', which was approved by the police, and allowed neo-Nazis to protest. According to subsequent information we received, Croatian nationalists have rented space and sound in Križevačko Bukovje where the planned one-day "festival" for two hundred neo-Nazis.
