Association of young anti-fascists of Zagreb expressed its satisfaction with the reaction of the public for attempting to organize neo-Nazi concert, owing this the concert was banned. After an anonymous tip on Friday evening, we decided to act. Due to the short time that we had to react, we decided to use public pressure, because we have learned from experience that this is the only way to prevent neo-Nazis in their intentions. In the summer of last year, the same group that organized this concert, 'Croatian nationalists', also organized the 'Anti-gay protest', which was approved by the police, and allowed neo-Nazis to protest. According to subsequent information we received, Croatian nationalists have rented space and sound in Križevačko Bukovje where the planned one-day "festival" for two hundred neo-Nazis. |
